・Green Fire: A documentary film on Aldo Leopold and his "Land Ethic" is now screened in the USA. It is also available in DVD. Please check the Green Fire website.

・Hirabari Satoyama Conservancy tryied to conserve a bearutiful 12-acre strech of satoyama in the middle of Nagoya. (the 4th largest city in Japan) It was destroyed in October 2010 while Nagoya was hosting COP 10 to the Convention on Biological Diversity. HSC is still working to conserve nature around the vanished satoyama.
